HOAN VU was founded in 2007 by Henry Bui, an American-Vietnamese R&D engineer who spent 17 years at Stanford, Agilent, Thermo Finnigan (now Thermo Fisher) where he designed/invented several aspects of modern mass spectrometry technology. Under Henry’s leadership, HOAN VU became the first independent analytical laboratory in the region who is capable of assessing the safety, authenticity and provenance of food, animal feed and consumer goods. After spending more than 35 years in the United States, Henry moved back to Viet Nam in 2015. His scientific knowledge, global networks and technical expertise ensure that HOAN VU remains the most technically competent and most modern laboratory in Viet Nam. HOAN VU proudly operates with 50+ staff including 40+ analytical chemists and the most advanced analytical technologies available.
HOAN VU operates with uncompromising integrity and is trusted and appointed by five government ministries in Viet Nam. In January 2018, we proudly received a recognition award from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries after our forensic investigation uncovered illegal, synthetic proteins in animal feed.
